is a seminar which was given at Northwestern University
on Oct. 17. Faculty from several disciplines including
engineering, history, political science and journalism
explored the disaster from different angles.
- Localization
of Noise Sources in the Moveable Roof of Miller Park,
Milwaukee, WI
In 2002, operation of the sports stadium's moveable roof produced loud noises.
It was discovered through Acoustic Emission (AE) testing that the pivot bearings
were the most likely source of the noise, which was impossible to accurately
locate by ear.

contest for Sustainable Development and was entered into a global competition.
How this plan differs from the present day city and what it will take
to achieve this plan.
