81st Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB)

Instrumentation and Testing of Bridge Foundations
Sponsored by TRB Committees A2K01, Soils and Rock Instrumentation, and A2K03, Foundations of Bridges and Other Structures

TRB Committees A2K01 and A2K03 are co-sponsoring a session titled "Instrumentation and Testing of Bridge Foundations" during the 81st Annual Meeting of the TRB in January, 2002. The topics include: in-service performance monitoring of bridge foundations, field testing of piles for bridge foundations, field testing to identify unknown foundations, use of innovative instrumentation and test methods for long-term monitoring of bridge foundations, and non-destructive testing methods to detect strength/stiffness of bridge foundations. Papers involving case studies are particularly encouraged. The papers may be for presentation only, or for both presentation and publication. Paper submission and review shall be in accordance with TRB guidelines, which can be found at the TRB website:

Papers must be submitted to TRB by August 1, 2001.
