TRB Committees A2K01 and A2L04 are co-sponsoring a session titled "Instrumentation to Monitor Freezing Effects in Soils" during the 81st Annual meeting of the TRB in January, 2002. The topics include: inovations in instrumentation to monitor freezing effects in soils, case studies of field monitoring programs, and laboratory investigations that include an instrumentation monitoring component. The papers may be for presentation only, or for both presentation and publication. Paper submission and review shall be in accordance with TRB guidelines, which can be found at the TRB website:

Papers must be submitted to TRB by August 1, 2001.
