David Kosnik joined the Institute as a Northwestern undergraduate and developed software for displaying data from remote structure monitoring systems over the Internet, for which he won the Student of the Year award from the US DOT University Transportation Centers program. He completed his B.S. in computer engineering in June 2003 and is now principally involved in developing and deploying sensors and computer systems for remote monitoring of structures.
