Raymond Krizek

Professor Ray Krizek was the first Chairman of the Geotechnical Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers. His research and consulting interests include soil-structure interaction, buried conduits, groundwater flow, the disposal of slurry wastes, grouting, and the engineering properties of soils. His work with the Institute has included the evaluation of soil cement and other treatments for improved pavement subbases, and the long-term evaluation of the performance of dredged materials placed as fills.
