ITI's Chief Research Engineer Dan Marron works to design and build systems to nondestructively monitor the condition of infrastructure facilities. His current emphasis is on using the Internet to transmit data and video of remote infrastructure facilities to facilitate the monitoring and evaluation. He is also helping to develop a new infrastructure condition monitoring laboratory in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
